Self Indulgence

One more thought -- with Friday the 13th being a full moon, I bet we get some crazy antics out of the folks over at M&D's. Oh, but, in their words, they don't want to be different and they aren't just doing this for attention. I suppose the campy antics are completely insignificant.... Oh, and I bet they don't make a big deal out of Halloween either, as this is simply a "medical condition".

We'll see. I bet they can't keep their composure and avoid wacky antics. If this is simply a medical condition unrelated to the Romanticized vampires (which they claim to not emulate, yet shroud their sites with imagery from) then Friday the 13th, Halloween, full moon - these should simply all be normal days.

Oh wait, maybe the Mitochondria are affected by the moon's stronger gravity pull when it is reflecting light... and.... *laugh* I can't even call them on it, though, because I'm banned. Feh.

What to do, what to do. Maybe I should just axe this whole thing, come up with a spiffy flash splash screen that you see every time that you come here.. you know the kind, the ones that grow old quickly and then become downright tiresome...

I suppose I sort of set a level of expectation by creating a blog. Specifically, that I would update it. I just don't really have the time or energy to keep it up recently. My, how that comment provides out of context fodder for people to chew on.

I have come upon the issue of censorship again. I find that I have been banned from posting on a message board that I have NEVER posted on, merely by association with someone else who has posted there. This really bothers me. I could care less about the site in question - in all fairness I feel a bit of pity towards the proprieter - but I did not want to ever take an active part in the discussion there. The problem that I have is that the webmistress (or one of her minions) has decided that differing points of view are a) Threatening b) Hateful c) Dangerous. It bothers me even more when you consider that the people who have these feelings about me feel this way because a) they believe they are vampires b) they cannot accept rational inquiry into their system of beliefs.

I suppose banning someone from a message board is the only way that she can "make her point". Yes, M&D, you have won. When someone hits your website, they won't have to be bothered by things such as rational discussion, thought provocation, or reality. Thankfully, in the long run you have lost. You see, before today, my website would never have turned up in a web search for the word vampire... maybe I can get to these lost people before you have a chance to try to influence them.
