Feh. It looks like Blogger ate my last blog for breakfast. What did I say in it...?

Something about the Padres. Let's see, well, after tonight they are back to .500 -- hopefully they can break the even mark tomorrow night for Dave Winfield jersey night. I'm really glad that Winfield decided to enter the Hall of Fame wearing a Padres jersey - it means a lot to me. He came up with the team, but some would say he had his best years with the Yankees. For me, it says that "Yeah, I know the Yanks can pay more, but smaller markets like San Diego are important." Plus it just proves to me again that San Diego has some of the best fans in the country -- why else would Dave choose us over New York?

Fuck you Steinbrenner, we have Dave.

I wonder if this Blog thing works any faster than it used to...


What's today's date anyway, the 11th? Fucking A - it's been a while since I've done one of these. In the time since I lost updated, I turned 27, my brother visited for a weekend, and I stirred up controversy again at work...

Oh, and Lise's (and a few other's) webcomic went online.


Opening day for the Padres was yesterday - we lost 11 - 6. I'm going again tonight and Friday -- Thursday's day game will be my first one missed, but I will be going Saturday to get the Dave Winfield Jersey...


My parents are coming down this weekend as well. I suspect it is just to see if I fucked up on the choice of the condo that I bought, but oh well. I had to move out of the apartment, and this is a nice place. I have no regrets (well, except that I don't have in house laundry hookups, but what can you do...)


That, and I'd like a garage. And a puppy. But you can't have everything...
